NOTE: Prices will include Coggins, Health Certificate. A non-refundable deposit is required, with payment in full before the horse leaves our ranch.

No postal money orders or personal checks will be accepted. Payment to be made in either Bank Drafts, Certified Check, or Financial Institution-issued International Money Orders.

Cayanne's Gelding

Cayanne gelding is a calm good natured fellow with a very kind heart. He has a good strong build, nice straight legs with medium bone. Halter broke to tie, lead, back up. Should mature 16-16.2 hh 1400 lbs. Measured 14.3 hh in June of 2008. His Dam is a very quiet kind good natured QH/Draft mare. DOB May 9th 2007..

Dirt's Filly

Dirt filly is now a red roan in color.

She is a very well mannered people friendly filly that will mature appox 15.2 hh 1300 lbs with a fine - medium bone. Would be a excellent family horse.

This filly is measuring 13.2 1/2 hh on June 24/08.

Purchasing Information

If you are interested in purchasing a foal/horse from Deerhorn Equine Ranch please contact me at loisb@mts.net or lois@deerhornequineranch.ca so that we can thoroughly discuss the type of horse you are interested in so I can match you up perfectly.

All foals are well acquainted with, and eat, oats prior to weaning.

After weaning they are fed appox 2 lbs of oats a day with free choice alfalfa/grass hay and water. They also have a salt lick and loose mineral to enjoy at their discretion.

All foals are weaned and dewormed in the beginning of September.

All foals are NAERIC microchipped and enrolled in the NAERIC ADVANTAGE PROGRAM.

The coggins and Health Certificate are included in the purchase price of the foal/horse.

The foals are ready for transport by the third week of September.

Even though the foals are not halter broke, they will be transported wearing a halter with an identifying numbered tag which matches the number on the Health Certificate.

All yearlings and older horses are sold quiet, halter broke to tie, lead and backup.

It is my intention to sell only to productive markets. Therefore, I retain the right to the refusal of any sale at my discretion.

Deerhorn Equine Ranch does not sell foals/horses to Rescue Groups or for the purpose of slaughter.
